GPU ...mining profitability is going absolutely INSANE right now, especially with Pearl (PEARL) mining. But before you go out and buy a bunch of RTX 5070 Ti, 5080, or 5090 GPUs, there are some serious risks you need to understand.
In this video, I'm breaking down why I'm cautious about expanding into GPU mining at current prices, even while my existing mining operation is generating incredible revenue.
Pearl's network hashrate has climbed dramatically, block rewards are continuously decreasing, and GPU hardware is expensive. If more miners continue joining the network while Pearl's price stops rising, today's profitability could look very different in just a few months.

My old AMD RX 6600 XT GPU mining rigs have been turned off for over 486 DAYS… but now I'm bringing them back online!
With GPU mining profitability improving, I'm firing up my old mining farm to see if these graphics cards can finally make money again. I have 48 RX 6600 XTs sitting around, and I wasn't sure how many would even work after being offline for more than a year.
In this video, we're powering up the old rigs, updating HiveOS, troubleshooting riser and motherboard issues, and testing GPU mining profitability with Quantis and other coins.
Some rigs fired right up. Others had problems. I even ran into a suspicious burning smell, dead risers, and an old motherboard that couldn't update because of its tiny 16GB drive!
By the end, I'm getting around 3.8–4 GH/s across the working GPUs, with one mining tower generating approximately $23/day in revenue and around $17/day after electricity based on my calculations at roughly $0.10/kWh.
Is GPU mining finally worth revisiting, or is this just another temporary profitability spike? I'm going to keep these rigs running for now and see what happens.

My GPU mining rigs went offline, and I lost more than a day of Quantus mining earnings! Today, I'm troubleshooting my old Ubiquiti network bridge, getting my CMP 210 GPU mining rigs back online, and building more GPU miners.
